After the release of NHL24, EA was in need of a fresh take on a ton of different elements.  The goal was to create a "hypestage" like setup that all pre-play activities can live as well as a new opening video to hold menu items.  This included a whole slew of concept designs, viz id mograph, smoke & particle sims, and seasonal releases.  Fun stuff!
